What I Loved About School

Well, I remember always liking school when I was in elementary school and high school. Junior high I could have lived without. I think that junior high is bound to be an awkward, unpleasant time for most kids. Their bodies are going through changes, causing them to be hormonal and moody.
What I loved most is the social aspect of school. I enjoyed being with kids my age, talking, and playing. I really liked most subjects, aside from Social Studies, which I found immensely boring. In fifth grade, our school began a computer lab. I loved computer lab. We'd play games, like Oregon Trail, or a game where we began a story by typing one sentence, then moved to the next computer and typed a sentence on that person's story. Games have always been big fun for me. In high school French, we played tons of games like French bingo, flashcards, or simply watched French themed movies like "Gigi". Basically, whenever school was fun, I dug it, but always dug the fact that I was able to see my friends daily.

You guys, Fran could work a teacher. She could. She could pretty much talk a teacher into anything. She still has that ability. I think it's a contagious sort of enthusiasm. People want to be a part of it.
