Its Friday, I think....

.... and because its Friday, and I have had a hell of a busy week, I am chillin with a glass (well pottery vessel,) of Mc Guigan Black Label Shiraz. Its lovely, but it sure would be nice if it were a Picaroon's Dooryard Ale, a fine organic microbrewed wheat beer from my hometown. mmm wheat beer, hint of orange and coriander, mmmmm............................
The kiln is off and blinking error codes, saying a thermocouple is not connected. Not too much I can do about it, it is what it is....Although I sure as hell hope it reached temperature first, won't know what its all about til its cool enough to open tomorrow afternoon. Sure will be nice when I get my very own kiln.... any day now it should be here! SQUEEEE!!!!!!!
AND I have found someone who will hook it up for me, for a piece of pottery. OOOOOH I love trading!!! It mightt be the best part of being an artist..

Can't wait till you get your new kiln, and get it hooked up. Love the artist trading, I made a set of ramekins for a man who wanted them as a gift for his wife. In exchage he put our new sidewalk in for the studio..lol lol lol..:) We always keep a couple extra thermocouplers on hand...! They are cheap! :)

The kiln I have been using is in town at the Craft centre, I cracked it open today and things look pretty good. I opened the computer box and inspected all the TC connections and everything looks good. All were reading today, don't know what the glitch was but its all set to do my last firing Monday morning, so we shall see....
