Iowa State Fair!

Hi there kids!  :)
I hope you all had a wonderful day.
Maureen - I hope you had a WoNdErFuL birthday!!

So - Dave and I took the kids to the Iowa State Fair today and I shot a few photos off with my iPhone and thought I would share with you all one of the biggest (if not the biggest) event in Iowa of the year.

Here goes...

There is LOTS of food at the fair...

Most of the food is fried and on a stick (there was salad on a stick this year - which was nice!)

You can't go to the fair with out seeing the butter cow - it's a HUGE (maybe life size?) cow made 100% of butter.  That's right - I said butter.

There are also rides.

...and livestock (which we didn't get to see)
...and contest like mullet contests, beard growing contests, biggest vegetables, etc... (which we didn't go see either)
...the fair is BIG.  I don't think you can see the whole thing in one day - maybe you can - but we couldn't.

BUT... WE DID SEE...
Becky doing a wheel demonstration at the fair!  YEAH!  GO BECKY!

These pictures are super cool!
I'm not a food on a stick fan. Well, except cotton candy but that's usually in a bag. I like my food to be eaten with a fork. I would make a shitty cave woman.
