Gin Blossoms always makes me think of my freshmen year of high school. It had just came out and I loved them. Along with Goo Goo Dolls and, of course, Lucas.
Oh god. I loved this too. If this came out now would I love it? I don't know. I don't know if I would even hear it! I never listen to fm radio anymore. I'm always either listening to cds of talk radio.
Seriously, my Mom knows more new music than I do. She can sing everything on the radio because she's always riding around with my younger sister. She's hip. She's with it. Me? No, I don't know about it. Oh sure Kanye, yeah. A few others.
So, teens know new music and my parents. Then there's me. If I have kids, that's when I'll learn new music again. When they get into music. That's really weird.
don't count on learning new music from your kids.lol India takes her musical cues from me. and Mason is a sinatra/rattpack/grateful dead kinda guy.. I had to introduce him to Michael BuBle and Jack Johnson, just so that he could hear things made in this century.
I loved it too! You're right though that I probably wouldn't know of it either if it were just released. I hate lots of the new pop music. Soph has pretty decent taste for a 5-year-old, aside from Katy Perry.
