More Childhood Songs

Of course one of the first tapes I remember liking was Bon Jovi. I think of my brother always singing this song. It was hilarious.

First song I remember my dad playing on his good ole 8 track. Barbra Mandrell-Sleeping Single in a Double Bed.
My first best friend loved oldies and it made me want to love oldies too. I can distinctly remember her singing this in the car and I was so impressed.
8th grade. Love this song and love Reality Bites (it was on the soundtrack).
And, my mom had her own cover version of this song, where she altered the lyrics to be: "Two kids for sale or rent." She thought she was so clever.

I love your mom's version!

Keep in mind, most of this music I don't love, just think of specific memories. Ha! So does she. :)

This music thing is fun!

Oh Joni. I can imagine how pleased with herself she must have been. In fact, I may have heard her sing that before.

Stay is singing in the car song!

Yes! It is! My new memory of Stay is you and I cruising around on Halloween singing it everywhere.
