I was the Stones

Me and my friends could describe each other as "oh, Gary likes the Stones" and that would totally sum me up (in 1980, maybe still???) Evan was the Beatles (POTTER now! yesssss....), Sean was the Kinks (he teaches English in LA), Carl was wacky--he liked the Sex Pistols (he became a lawyer for the Navy! SQUARE), some kid on my corner liked Genesis, my friend Stefan was confused...VILLAGE PEOPLE...ahem....he is VP at big corp somewhere, an engineer, Piers liked the Who--he is a writer, and was and IS cool....and this kid who sat by me in history liked the Trogs. Sure, wild thing is cool, but base your whole identity on it? I think he was just trying to be different :)

We listened to music all the time, however, I never did nor did George identify with a particular group. It's cool that you did that, but we just didn't. Gosh, we are becoming real stick in the muds lately.
Maybe it's the age gap....hahahahha! Fun to read your posts though! :)

You and George are not sticks in the mud! NO WAY! Sticks playing in the mud, MAYBE, but not sticks just sitting there in the mud!
